This holiday season, Gina Rinehart – Australia’s wealthiest individual – bestowed a whopping $100,000 Christmas bonus to 10 staff members at her company Roy Hill.

Billionaire Gina Rinehart granted a fantastic $100,000 bonus to 10 fortunate employees in a wondrous and generous holiday gift.

On Monday, a trusted source revealed that the employees of Roy Hill, owned by Hancock Prospecting, could receive a generous $100,000 Christmas bonus.

A source reported that Gina told all Roy Hill staff to stay tuned for a significant announcement last week.

“She declared that she would draw ten names from a hat randomly.

“Each of those names would be granted an extra $100,000 for the holiday season.”

On Tuesday, an anonymous employee from Roy Hill verifies the rumour.

The worker remarked that one of the lucky recipients had only been employed at the mining company for three months.

In the past year, Roy Hill experienced a bump in profits of $3.3 billion, bringing Ms Rinehart’s total to an impressive $2.3 billion last month alone!

Despite generating a hefty income, Hancock Prospecting saw its profits plummet by 28% due to low iron ore prices caused by trade wars and shortages. These disruptions sparked an unprecedented chain reaction that has reverberated across the industry, resulting in decreased revenues for other major players.

Hancock holds the majority of shares in the mine at 70%, while Marubeni Corporation follows at 15%. POSCO constitutes 12.5%, and China Steel Corporation has only a 2.5% stake.

Roy Hill generated a profit of immense proportions, and their consequent payments were astronomical. Roy Hill was required to pay an astounding $761 million in State Royalties and Native Title royalties, as well as the hefty sum of $2.1 billion on tax. The business allocated an extra $2.3 billion to reimburse contractors for their services.

Mrs Rinehart expressed her appreciation to the Roy Hill employees for contributing to this year’s success. She noted that Australia benefits from the continued prosperity of her company.

Boasting an impressive $34 billion net worth per the AFR’s recent rich list, the mining magnate has solidified their place as Australia’s wealthiest individual.
