Maximising Potential: Venture Minerals Steps Up Exploration of Western Australia’s Rare Earth Elements

Must Read

Venture Minerals Limited excitedly reveals its rare earth elements (REE) strategy expansion by securing prime targets in Western Australia. These targets show promise for housing REE-rich clay-hosted mineralisation.

Venture Minerals Limited has added a substantial tenement package of 511 square kilometres to their already promising Vulcan Prospect. Located adjacent to the state’s highest-grade REE mineralisation, the Vulcan Prospect has shown TREO levels as high as 125,165 parts per million (ppm).

In addition to the Vulcan Prospect, Venture recently acquired a new project called Brothers which contains surface laterite samples grading up to 1,864 ppm combined REE. This is close to a historic drill hole intersecting 4 metres at 2,103 ppm TREO within clays.

The company also acquired another 809 square kilometre tenement package, Bandy Project, hosting results as high as 2,704 ppm from the same State Government dataset. These acquisitions are seen as promising investments for Venture’s long-term success in this sector.

Venture managing director Andrew Radonjic said, “The discovery of new rare earth projects in Australia is critical, as we manage the threat of China limiting supply to the rest of the world.”

“Venture believes building a quality portfolio of REE projects gives the shareholders valuable exposure to an important and fast-growing sector.”

At its Kulin Project, Venture also discovered laterite REE lanthanum and cerium coincident with its new acquisitions.

An AEM survey of 1,365 line kilometres was recently conducted at Kulin using Geotech Ltd’s versatile time-domain electromagnetic (VTEMTM Max) geophysical system.

The survey aimed to understand the subsurface geology, identify potential mineralised targets, and explore REE mineralisation.

The VTEM Max system can provide high-resolution data over large areas, allowing Venture to map any potential conductive anomalies accurately.

This data will be used with other exploration techniques, such as sampling and drilling, to investigate further the prospects discovered during the survey.

Venture Minerals is confident that this expansion into the REE sector will open up several new opportunities while contributing value to its broader portfolio of commodities such as tin, tungsten and gold.
