This week’s Powerball jackpot winner in Sydney is now $30 million richer. He disclosed that he intends to purchase a Lamborghini with his newfound riches.

A resident of Camden, located in southwest Sydney, won the only division-one prize in Powerball draw 1404 on Thursday. This win makes them the second-largest lottery winner of 2023.

The numbers are 27, 33, 19, 29, 5, 12, and 15, with the Powerball number 4 being the most important.

At first, lottery officials couldn’t contact the online ticket buyer who had won because they had incomplete contact information.

“We became paranoid after finding out at 9 pm last night,” the man who won stated in a statement released by The Lott on Friday morning.

“We presented the ticket to some individuals and inquired if it was a winner. I was constantly checking the ticket every 10 minutes. I’m amazed and lost for words! This prize could not have gone to a more deserving family and will benefit many individuals. This is truly incredible.”

The winner expressed his eagerness to finally use the $30 million prize to achieve one of his lifelong dreams.

He said that he would like to own a Lamborghini. “I have always wanted that car since I was a kid. Owning it now feels like a dream come true, and it makes me believe that I’ll lead a wonderful life!”

In total, nearly $130 million has been won by six people in the Powerball division one so far this year.

There have been two wins in both New South Wales and South Australia, and one wins each in Victoria and Western Australia.

The man who won bought a 36-game entry online through, an authorised reseller of The Lott.

Customers of NSW Lotteries have won 103 out of the 337 division-one prizes The Lott has awarded this financial year.
