The Romantics: Hamish Blake and His Wife Zoë Foster Celebrate the Opulent New Art Gallery in Style

On Wednesday night, Hamish and Zoë Blake were all smiles as they attended the opening of the new building for the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney.

The Australian comedian, 40, and his entrepreneurial wife, 42, beamed as they embraced each other at the small event.

Zoë donned an exquisite ivory pleated frock from Aje, costing $725. The Go-To skincare founder’s makeup look was a natural, nude palette. A few rings adorned her fingers, and a pair of white open-toed heels peeked out beneath her flowing maxi dress. On the other hand, Hamish looked handsome in a blue suit and crisp white collared shirt. He went for a more relaxed vibe with the first few buttonholes undone.

Zoë is one of Australia’s most successful entrepreneurs. She has built multiple businesses from the ground up and achieved great success.

Last year, she reaped the benefits of her hard work when she sold her controlling stake in the skincare company Go-To for $89 million. The pandemic caused a boom in sales for Go-To, which secured its founder a place on the Australian Financial Review Young Rich List.

“Although the circumstances are complicated and challenging right now, we’re so glad that we’ve built an established business with loyal customers,” Zoë said in a statement at the time. “We are grateful for all the support of our team, partners, friends and family over the years.”

In addition to her work as an author, she has also written more than a dozen children’s books that are both fun and engaging.

Zoë married Hamish, a comedian and radio personality, in 2012. They have two children: Sonny Blake (eight years old) and Rudy (five years old).

The couple relocated to Sydney from Melbourne last year and bought an $8.925 million home in the eastern suburbs.
The opening of the Art Gallery of New South Wales was a big event, and many other notable figures from the arts and entertainment world were in attendance. It was a grand celebration of Australian culture that drew everyone together, even as we face the challenges presented by this pandemic.
